Because it's what I do
Ever since early hominids gathered around the fire, telling tales of monsters and bravery, storytelling has been an esssential part of what makes us human. Writing adds permanence to these stories. Yes, there are only so many themes, a limited number of concepts for any story. But the variations are endless!
From early sci-fi stories I wrote in my youth, to poetry in my teens and twenties, to writing for business in my adulthood, to my first novel, pulling words from my imagination and making them come alive so I could share with others...it's what I do.
